The workshop will address the state of women’s rights in post-Soviet space, alongside moral conservatism imposed under the banner of ‘traditional values’, addressing areas such as family, patriotism, and religion. The invited scholars are called for to contribute the workshop with analyses around these topics including the reactions and initiatives by women organisations. You are invited to learn about experiences of and responses to the conservatism and anti-genderism in the countries of the former Soviet Union. We will discuss new activism and ways to empowerment.
NB! The symposium will be held on Zoom. More information is coming in August.
