Ukraine in focus: another instance of successful cooperation between IRES fellows and alumni
2019-04-18
A recently published special issue of Ukraine Moderna, a leading peer-reviewed journal in the humanities in Ukraine, contains contributions from four IRES fellows and alumni: Martin Kragh, Lidiya Zubytska, Hanna Söderbaum, and Volodymyr Kulikov. The theme of the issue is The Economic Elites of Ukraine in Historical Comparative Perspective. The issue also contains a review of the book Attitudes, Poverty and Agency in Russia and Ukraine edited by Ann-Mary Sätre and Ildikó Asztalos Morell. This publishing project is yet another successful example of IRES establishing an acting community of its current fellows and alumni researching Eastern Europe and Russia.
