Are you interested in an internship?
We are looking for variety of applicants who are relevant to all of our areas of research. As an intern at Institute for Russian and Eurasian Studies you will be given the same job responsibilities as a full-time researcher. You will be given real work with real problems to solve working along side one of our full-time researchers as your mentor.
Throughout the year we accept a small number of internships and we accept applications on a continuous basis. We prefer candidates with a minimum of two or three year’s experience of studies and already enrolled in under-graduate programs on bachelor or masters level.
Institute for Russian and Eurasian Studies will not reimburse travel costs or pay any salary. Nor will the center assist with accommodation or with visas.
Applications are ranked according to study merits. If you have an academic text, preferably a Bachelor's thesis, please attach this to your application. A well written academic text like a thesis is a highly valued merit when your application is evaluated. In addition, your application should include your preferences for the length of your internship and a personal research statement at the end of your CV answering the following questions:
- What are your research interests?
- What sorts of projects would particularly interest you?
- What experience do you have that would be relevant to your internship?
- Why would you be a good choice for us?
Please send your application to the Director of Institute for Russian and Eurasian Studies.
